Inspections
Inspections are an ongoing process of identifying potential hazards in the workplace before they become a health and safety issue. Inspections should be carried out on a regular basis so that any changes in working practices or newly introduced hazards can be identified promptly and addressed immediately.
We would strongly advise that designated teams be created within the organisation who have responsibility for carrying out these regular inspections. The benefit of Inspections being managed internally is that the teams will always be available when changes to work practices are made. The consultants at Discovery Consultancy will provide your inspection teams with training on what to look for and include, therefore enabling them to continue the inspection process internally.
