Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)

Course Overview

The law requires employers to control exposure to and risk from, hazardous substances. This course introduces COSHH to delegates and explores the occupational health issues surrounding the use of hazardous substances. It will prepare delegates for carrying out COSHH assessments. Course members will be those selected by the Company to be instrumental in carrying out assessments and for bringing forward to their managers suggestions to minimise risk.

Certification

Delegates must successfully complete a final COSHH project and will be awarded a Discovery Consultancy Limited "Certificate of Successful Completion"

Teaching Methods

The course is taught using a number of teaching methods, including case studies, videos, exercises and a final test of knowledge and understanding.
