IOSH - Directing Safely

Course Overview

Aimed at those people with strategic responsibility for designing Health and Safety Policy and creating the organisation for giving it effect. This exclusively run course provides directors and managers with an understanding of the moral, legal and business case for proactive health and safety management and gives guidance on the effective management of risk.

Certification

On successful completion of the written and practical assessments for this course delegates will be awarded the IOSH Directing Safely Certificate.

Course pre-requisites

Delegates must be members of the senior management team.

Teaching Methods

The course is presented using discussion techniques with delegates completing a workbook as the course unfolds. Case studies are included in the course materials.

This course is taught in house with an on-site trainer.
