Manual Handling Awareness

Course Overview

The Manual Handling Awareness Course is aimed at any personnel involved in manual handling operations i.e. any activity involving lifting, carrying, moving, pushing, pulling or setting down by manual means. The training meets the training requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and aims to increase awareness in participants of manual handling risks for themselves and others.

Certification

Delegates must successfully complete a final manual handling assessment and will be awarded a Discovery Consultancy Limited "Certificate of Satisfactory Completion".

There are no prerequisites for this course.

This is a one day course.

Teaching Methods

The course is taught using a number of teaching methods, including case studies, videos, exercises and a final assessment of knowledge and understanding.

Location

This course is taught in house with an on-site trainer.
